OUR FOUNDER

A woman in black pants and a teal top, with a light-colored jacket, is posing under a bridge with her hands and dominant leg on the ground and her other leg raised against the bridge support, looking at the camera with her tongue slightly out. The scene is outdoors near a body of water with trees in the background.

After 22 years of dancing and a decade of teaching, I founded Let’s Go in 2018.

What began as a single monthly workshop quickly grew into weekly classes. Today, Let’s Go offers training for beginners through to advanced dancers, ages 7+, across a wide range of styles including Hip Hop, House, Popping, Locking, Breaking, Lite Feet, Waacking, Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Commercial.

At the heart of Let’s Go is more than just dance. My teaching is shaped by my own journey of personal growth and recovery - rebuilding from a challenging chapter into a place of strength, balance, and clarity. That experience informs the high-energy, transformational approach I bring into every class, helping students build confidence, resilience, and self-belief alongside their technique.

Alongside weekly classes in Henley and monthly workshops in Marlow, I also work with private dance students, create first-dance choreography for weddings, and deliver motivational workshops for other dance schools.

AUTHENTICITY

I have been lucky enough to learn from some of the pioneers of the Street Dance styles including Jnr Boogaloo, Brooklyn Terry, Tyrone Proctor, Archie Burnett (pictured left) and many second generation teachers. It is learning from these greats that keeps the authenticity and feeling alive in these dance styles; which is why I teach the history and culture as well as the steps.

During my professional dance career I performed with world renowned dance groups: Birdgang, Boadicea & Urban Strides, on 17 Arena Stages including the O2 Arena, as well as dancing with Clean Bandit, Kylie Minogue and performing on This Morning & ITV News.

  • Absolutely! We offer free trials for under 18s, and adults can pay for a drop in session to try it out first.

  • Probably not, we have all ages in the 13+ classes. I mix teens with adults because I believe it’s a really enriching environment for both parties. And even if you are, who cares! No one in the class will, that’s for sure.

  • Yes, but only for the monthly workshops. The other classes build week on week and follow a plan, so you need to commit to the whole term.
